Welcome back to another year of IB Biology at Allen High School! In this second year of HL Biology, we'll learn about the one of the essential themes of modern biology: evolutionary theory and how it has shaped populations of organisms throughout history, including human populations. We will also spend time learning about the history of early Earth, the diversity of life on Earth as well as the structure and function of human body systems.

In the spring semester, our focus will be on preparing internal assessment portfolios for moderation in April and preparing for the exam in May.
